That's part of the security stack. You need to sample "securityd"
typically, which may in turn be blocked on DirectoryServices or
lookupd or something else, so keep following the chain.
Right, I've got cron set up to periodically sample securityd now, so
I'll just wait to see if/when it happens again.
If you think there's a kernel problem, you might also try using a
kernel debug kit (which has a symbol-rich kernel) to remotely
attach and do a "showallstacks". If it's an entirely user-space
deadlock, that won't be very helpful, though.
... and I'll keep this in mind for later.
