Right, I've got cron set up to periodically sample securityd now, so I'll just wait to see if/when it happens again.


If you think there's a kernel problem, you might also try using a kernel debug kit (which has a symbol-rich kernel) to remotely attach and do a "showallstacks". If it's an entirely user-space deadlock, that won't be very helpful, though.

... and I'll keep this in mind for later.
