It depends if you are trying to show another element with the peephole, or
if you are trying to show something in the canvas underneath the hole.
If the canvas is floating over other html elements, just erase the center,
by creating a path and filling it with alpha.
Otherwise, try just rendering the bits you need, never rendering the
center.
