Hi,

This isn't really about widget development but it's an important part of it. I was wondering if somebody has some tips about making the glassy effect most widgets have. I have my own method but I wonder how others do it.

The glass effect I'm talking about is that shine you can see here: http://images.apple.com/downloads/macosx/images/ dashboardmainheader20050429.jpg

What I do is, in Photoshop, I create a new layer, with white and then drop the opacity to about 20 or 30%. How do you guys do it?
