Are there any Dashboard developers out there who have figured out how to align text horizontally and vertically? If so, then how do I do it?

I already know how to center text horizontally; I'm trying to figure out how to center text vertically as well. I've already Googled for answers and haven't found anything that works - it looks like horizontal alignment in CSS doesn't work on text, and I already tried declaring a table with a horizontally & vertically aligned cell. Nothing's worked so far.
