I've never tried widget calls from remote code, but I am quite
certain it should work. You'll want to use widget.openURL:
<a href="javascript:widget.openURL('http://apple.com/');">Go to
Apple</a>
Is this what you were doing without success? (It also works as an
onclick, of course, but then you don't need "javascript:".) If this
doesn't work for you, then can you send any error messages from /
Applications/Utilities/Console.app?
I have a widget that displays content from a webpage. I've tried to
make content on this page hyperlinks that open in a new browser
window. It doesn't work for me and the best I've managed is to get
it to open inside the widget which I don't want. I know its
probably quite simple but can someone please advise what I need to
do. Thanks
I've tried widget.openurl among other things.
The one problem I may have is if you're pulling HTML from an
external source into your widget, do widget function calls within
that external page work?
