The problem might be the lowercase D in default.png. It should be Default.png.

    1.  "I'm using the Case-sensitive Journaled HFS+ file system. I've

 but new one's do not."

 Does anyone have any suggestions? (I've already asked her to
 confirmed that Dock is specified in the "Open with:" section of the
 Get Info box.)

 Ben, I tried your suggestion. She emailed me the widget and it ran
 fine on my machine.
