I can't seem to find any docs on this at the moment, but I'm pretty certain that you must call open() before you call setRequestHeader() for that method to take any effect. So I don't think your calls to setRequestHeader() are having the desired effect.

Yep, sorry, that somehow got mixed up when I pasted the lines to the Email. It is correct in my _javascript_.

I just changed the code from another widget that does the thing a bit more complicated and the (surprsing to me) answer was another error-document, with a text saying something about an "empty document". Either that is because I did something wrong when changing the other widget or the server really delivers an empty document. That would make sense somehow I guess, as the error-message I receive in my own widget says something about an error on line 1 column 1. I think I will have to ask the guys who gave me the url if it really delivers something back.

Well, thank you very much for your efforts (and to all others too, who answered). I think I will stay with the get-request-version for now.

And about the Apple-doc: Yes, it is a good intro, I just thought it could give a bit more information.
