Although I manage two Web sites for the non-profit Hilton Pond Center
for Piedmont Natural History in York SC, I don't know a heckuva lot
about HTML and other coding--I'm an educator-naturalist--so I can't
do everything I might like. (It's not helpful that I also have dyslexia,
so thank goodness for Adobe GoLive CS and spellcheckers.)
I've been trying to work on a Dashboard Widget that would help
disseminate info about my original photo essays posted each week
under "This Week at Hilton Pond" (see, for example, the current
installment at
<http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek060815.html>http://www.hiltonpond.org/ThisWeek060815.html).
However, I can't seem to make progress using any of the Widget
creators such as Widget Maker X, Widgetarium, etc. (I promise I've
tried really hard!)
Is there a kind and Widget-savvy soul out there who might volunteer
his/her services to help create a useful Widget? I suspect there are
many K-12 teachers and nature lovers out there who would be most
appreciative.
Someone has also suggested that publishing "This Week at Hilton
Pond" via an RSS feed that was then taken into the Widget night
be effective. Any thoughts on this?
