| Hi Anthony: It looks to me like the problem is just that the code is incomplete. When I opened your files, the _javascript_ Console reported not being able to find "buttonClicked" (the onclick action for one of your buttons). This appears to have halted the execution of the button creation code. When I replaced buttonClicked (which hadn't yet been defined) with null, the button appeared. If you are testing in Safari, you should enabled the Debug menu and use the _javascript_ Console. If you are testing in Dashboard, you should keep the system console open. I have found that it is nearly impossible to debug JS without a console. Good luck with your widget! I've read all the documentation and tutorials and such, but still cannot get the AppleButton to work properly. I've compared my code to examples and still cannot figure out why the button is not appearing, either in Safari or in Dashboard. I've attached the code if anyone is interested in taking a look. It's very basic, there is nothing but a few non-working buttons in the code right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. |
