Re: Can Dashboard use cookies?

List, not flame warring or anything, I will not be responding to any
other of Joshua's post in the future, unless on topic, but I did feel
I had to respond to this.

Joshua, you had obviously not read the rest of this thread, it is
pretty remote host specific - and, if you are going to send me a
private message, as you did, it is polite to not then decide to take
it to the list. At any rate, as to your claim I "didn't bother to
explain your situation in you post.":

"I want to have my widget config that the user has already been
authenticated for a partiular url by checking for a cookie set by
Safari." - Denis Stanton

"XMLHttpRequest has a bug in it where cookies are not saved for
get/post requests. So you can only add cookies via safari or some
other webkit client." - John Louch

"Is there any update to this issue? At this point, and it may be just
me, I can't even use setRequestHeader to add cookie..." - Lokkju

See that setRequestHeader? it means I am trying to add a cookie to
outgoing requests. And those other two, earlier, messages also are
very specific about this being a remote site problem.

Thanks,
Lok

You need to dial back that attitude if you expect help. It's not our
fault you didn't bother to explain your situation in you post.

Go twist.
