Re: 10.4.7 broke my widget!

It hasn't affected any of my widgets, though those do both network and system calls to command line tools, so they are pretty heavy duty. It's possible that the version of php on the system changed, which would affect you. It might be worthwhile adding some alert() debug statements into your code to determine why you are getting a blank widget. That will write out to the console. I'd also suggest trying to run the php commands via the terminal to verify they still return what you expect. Finally, make sure your info.plist allows system calls.

A user of my PHPfr widget <http://andrew.hedges.name/widgets/ #phpfr> has reported to me that the widget no longer works after upgrading to 10.4.7. I have confirmed this on my own system. The widget simply fails to load, with no error message in the Console.

Has anyone else had trouble with their widgets since the upgrade? I don't do anything particularly special in the widget. I do user widget.system to call command-line PHP to read the contents of a directory. Was there a change to the Info.plist parameters required to allow this kind of thing?

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
