between these "platforms" (Gadgets and OS X Widgets and Vista
Gadgets).

Google Gadgets for your Webpage (a.k.a. Google "Universal" gadgets) can be easily converted into Dashboard widgets with our free utility, Amnesty Generator:

Generator wraps a widget template around "web widgets" from Google and about 30 other widget sites. We'll be releasing 1.0 soon (1.0b1 is the current build), so feel free to send us comments, bug reports, etc.
