Hi all,
The W3C's Web Application Formats Working Group is currently working
on two documents related to Widgets (links below). The Widget Spec was
submitted by Opera Software so it is currently based on their widget
engine.

We are currently looking for comments on  what kinds of things would
be useful for the widget development community.

The requirements document for Widgets is at:
