Command+R in Dashboard is used to "restart" or "reload" a widget. Basically it's just like force quit for widgets.

...and Apple doesn't inform customers that Command-R "reloads" a widgets. Keep in mind that, to your customers, widgets are applications and *not* web pages. Please take that expectation into account when designing your widget!

Hi again.

Well, why use a Command-R geeky key combination? Why not use a "Reload" button with an onClick event which loads the function to refresh your stuff again?
I think widget are very graphical, people use a lot mouse, not keyboard.

Thanks to all who helped with the scrolling problem---I got that working. Now, I would *love* to be able to hit Command R and have the widget refresh--it currently does not. It just does the spin animation and then comes up blank--I assume there is code to put in that refreshes it when you hit Command R....

Thanks again!
