Yes, this is a known limitation. Because of the way Yahoo!'s weather
service works I can only retrieve weather data for US zip codes and
Yahoo! location IDs. Implementing zip code lookup was easy. I will
investigate weather look up by Yahoo! location ID in future releases.
I'd like to see it work globally, too.
