Re: XMLHttpRequest and untrusted SSL certificates...

Is there any way to use an XMLHttpRequest object to retrieve data from an
HTTPS URL when the server's certificate is not trusted for some reason
(self-signed certificates, expired certificate, etc).

I am running against a development server that has a self-signed certificate
(and its CN does not always equal the hostname it is running on).

I get back a status code of -1202 or -1203 when trying to talk to these
servers.

Any pointers?

At this time, there doesn't seem to be a way to handle this situation. Please file a bug report at <http://bugreport.apple.com/> with some details and steps to reproduce.

Thanks!
