Is there any way to use an XMLHttpRequest object to retrieve data
from an
HTTPS URL when the server's certificate is not trusted for some reason
(self-signed certificates, expired certificate, etc).
I am running against a development server that has a self-signed
certificate
(and its CN does not always equal the hostname it is running on).
I get back a status code of -1202 or -1203 when trying to talk to
these
servers.
Any pointers?

At this time, there doesn't seem to be a way to handle this
situation. Please file a bug report at <http://bugreport.apple.com/>
with some details and steps to reproduce.
Thanks!
