It seems to me that widgets and AppleScript are made for each
other, like Peanut Butter and Jelly. Maybe a future version of
Dashcode would let me use AppleScript by default, please.

Also, just so you know, you'll get more traction for requests like
yours at <http://bugreport.apple.com/>. The bug reporter plugs right
into Apple's bug tracking system, which is used to track issues and
feature requests.
