Re: Multiple sessions on ISO/Joliet CD

Multiple session data burns are not a valid CD format. HFS+ volumes work because of Apple specifically supporting them in the OS - I don't believe that any other OSes do. For ISO/Joliet, there is a way to support it by adding all of the files from the first session to the directory information of the subsequent session. This presents a single volume to the client/user containing all of the files on the disc. This is the only possible ISO/Joliet multi-session disc possible.

In the current version of DiscRecording, we do not support this. Future versions may be enhanced to support this. If you'd like to see it, please file a bug report with Apple requesting this functionality so we can properly prioritize the feature.

Is it possible to burn a CD with multiple ISO/Joliet sessions? Even using the Enhanced Data burn sample only works for multi-session HFS. If I burn a CD with multiple ISO sessions only the last session burned will be able to be mounted.

Is anyone else seeing this? Or am I doing something stupidly wrong entirely? :-)

Thanks!
