macrovision and superdrive

Hello--

A number of facilities are now offering to take a SuperDrive burned disc as a master for duplication. However, am I correct that the SuperDrive will not allow a disc burned to have MacroVision protection? If so, would there be a way for a replication house to add the MacroVision in making a master or is the only way to get the copy protection on to output to a DLT in the first place?
