ReRe: What kind of encoder did they use for ?

Hi,

You Write:

A " Bug's Life" was almost certainly encoded using incredibly
expensive Variable Bit Rate hardware, hardware that would
undoubtedly seem outdated today. However, the reason why CGI
created movies look so sharp and colorful has little to do with
"encoding". The original film was a computer generated project
created pixel by pixel with absolute perfection.

Yes... But I wondering WHY it wasn't encoded directly from Frame on Computer ?
If your remove Beta Digi compression; you certainly will get a much better result !

Then I think it will be better for CGI Movie to encode directly from original source isn't it?

Very best regards,

Fred
