If you want to render losslessly from AE, you use Animation.

BTW, voodoo uses what codec, exactly, genius?

Anyway, I'll just skulk away into my little dinosaur land and keep making a
living making great products for great clients like AGF, Labatts, Cinram,
CMT, Apple Records, CMT, PBS, CBC, etc. You just keep on doing whatever it
is you do. Just don't tell me about it. it makes me sooo jealous.
