Motion Menus - again

Greetings,

Asking this question the first time right after the Job's keynote address was probably bad timing, so I'll try again.

In the DVDSP manual, it refers to "compositing" motion buttons on top of your motion menu movie.

Is there someway to do this in DVDSP?

I added, resized and placed four movies on my motion menu movie using QuickTime Pro. This obviously worked, but is there a way to do it in DVDSP? The resulting movie is CPU intensive, even after deleting all unneeded and unused audio tracks. Although it seemed to play okay on the resulting burned DVD.

Secondly, to lower CPU load, may the added movies be created using a different codec than DV? Ultimately they become encoded by the "parent" codec as the menu movie and I had them sized down to 90 X 60 to make them buttons.

Thanks for your assistance.

David
