I know Apple is pretty secretive so not sure if this can be
answered, but I heard a rumor that OS X Leopard will not run on the
PowerPC platform, and will only be intel.
Can anyone confirm or deny?
No confirmation, but that would be a really bad idea. There's still
too large a base of people with PPC machines. If they did Intel
only, it would severely reduce the number of people on Leopard who
have fairly new machines. I have a new Powerbook and wouldn't
upgrade to an Intel machine any time soon since I've had this machine
for only a few days now.
