RE: [Fed-Talk] New MacBooks - can camera come out?

"remove before delivery, not after..."  Sounds like an excuse for a pencil pushing government bureaucrat... People can sit around and make up excuses all day for not doing work. I suppose if you really have someone so narrow minded in your organization, you could easily get a second-party contractor to take delivery of the machines, disable them, and then ship to the Government for final delivery...

It has to be removed before delivery not after.

Those are the rules we live with.  Been through this discussion a couple months ago when the iSight in the Powerbook was only a rumor.

Just happy we're allowed to get Apple products.

Many places believe multi-source means Dell and HP regardless that they use the same OS (aren't they both losing money and stock value)

IT guys like Windows, it keeps them employed, imagine the damage to the economy if all those home-users, corporate-users, and gov't users only required 1/10th the support.

Guys... Even the lowest ranking 74B automation soldier could permanently disable it in a matter of seconds. I really don't see this as an issue..
