Also, camera passes can be obtained only for specific needs, odds are the person with the laptop and the camera pass is breaking the intent of the camera rules. We're actually in the same boat, we have a laptop that was purchased for a project that required a digital camera and at the time it was thought to be possible so they bought a laptop with a camera to avoid juggling two items at once while on ships.
