I work at the Navy's lead lab for C4ISR R&D - a 4500 person organization doing a range of unclassified to TS/SCI work located on a military base in San Diego. So there is no sign outside your base prohibiting these items?

We have a nice big one for the public to see.

Our division did some research into the computer and physical security rules a couple years ago, tracing local regulations to the official Navy regulations, I don't think we looked at the camera rules but we were surprised by what we found.
