I find it interesting that here at SPAWAR, another Navy research facility (though granted we are on the more liberal west coast :-) ), that we did away with camera passes altogether - anyone can carry a camera around the campus. Just goes to show how inconsistent DoD security regulations are applied - even within the same community.
