[Fed-Talk] Re: CAC card and Mail.app

If you look inside the certs (via Keychain Access) you'll see two of
the certs have email addresses in them. Check to see if the email
addresses in the two certs match the email address you've configured
your Mail account with. If they don't match, you'll see this behavior.

I'm trying to use Mail.app as my main email client, but I can't for
the life of me get it to allow me to digitally sign or encrypt
messages. When I put my CAC card into the reader, Keychain Access
recognizes my card, and I'm able to unlock it with my pin. I
followed the instructions in the help menu for Mail, and tried to
customize the fields in my message, but I'm not given any buttons
that allow encryption/signing. What am I doing wrong???

This is for the archives. Dalton is correct, my certificate's email address and my actual address don't match. I need to talk to my sysadmins to find a solution to the problem.

Thanks for the help,
