[Fed-Talk] Software Update Server for OS X Server

I know that by using LDAP with OS X server and having users log in via an account located on OS X server we can manage their software update settings and have the Software Update on the individual machine point to the XSERVE Software Update Server...

My question is this... is there a way we can make Software Update point to our XSERVE without having the user login via LDAP?

I'd like our stand alone macs that do not authenticate to the network server to be able to use our software update server to preserve bandwidth and time... I looked around and have not found a plist file for software update, so was hoping someone here might have an idea.

thanks,
mike
