I suppose it can be the speed at which they com up and go but in any case,
Keychain still shows nothing.
Correct. Activity Monitor works by polling, so if a process starts &
dies between those polling intervals you won't see it.
Since you've got the AMSmartCard component installed, I'd have to punt
over to Paul Nelson @ Thursby. It's his code, and if there's an odd bug
causing it to work but drop from the Keychain Access list I'm sure he'd
like to know about it.
