Re: [Fed-Talk] Adobe CS3 and OS X Security Config Issues

Can you send what the settings are on at leas tone of the applications? This would include owner and settings for owner, group and other. My offhand guess is that the x permission is not set for some appropriate combination of group or other, depending on how the machine is configured.

Well I am on day 5 of trying to get my brand new Adobe CS3 Web Premium (Full
Version) working. The program installed fine, however whenever I try to
launch an app the following error appears.

reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe
customer support for help."

If I run the apps when logged in as Root there is no issue. Well we don't
and can't run as Root. We have applied many suggested changes based on the
Apple OS X security configuration guide. Obviously it's a permissions issue.

Adobe says since it works as Root - there is no problem with their software.
Obviously this is going to be an issue for many DoD Mac users.

Any others out there having this issue?

I just love my new $1500 paper weight!
