|Data Protection and Privacy Using Mac OS X “Leopard”|
Apple Executive Briefing Center - Reston, VA
Thursday, June 5, 2008 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Apple cordially invites you to attend a briefing that addresses Security Mandates for Government.
Federal security requirements are daunting. At the briefing, you will learn how Apple can help your Enterprise comply.
Apple continues its commitment to providing Federal customers the strongest and best encryption for ensuring protection of sensitive data. Apple delivers AES -128/256 encryption to meet data protection needs on accessible internal and external storage devices. That commitment also extends to achieving FIPS 140-2 conformance validation. Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and SmartCard integration will be discussed and demonstrated.
Mac OS X provides built-in support for use with the US Federal Government's Smart Cards: PIV (Personal ID Verification) and CAC (Common Access Card). Apple remains the only OS vendor providing integrated PIV and CAC support.
Briefing attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Apple executives and product specialists, as well as peers from other agencies.
To register, please contact Julia Bushyhead at email@hidden. Due to space restrictions, seating will be limited and is first come first served.
