Let me go on the record as saying that if 4G iPhones support contactless
RFID, I'll be in line to replace my 3GS the day they go on sale (worthy
of carrier penalty).

Of course, I'd hope there would be eventual support for the contactless
PIV interface, the ability to recognize my CAC as a keychain (like Mac
OS X), and iPhone Safari and Mail support for X.509 certificates in the
keychain on the CAC/PIV card.
I think SP 800-96 pages 7-8 lists the specs required to conform.
