Firewire / slip ring combination

I have a slipring: http://www.polysci.com/docs/srac6373.pdf

and I want to run Firewire through it.

The slip ring has been tested up to an 800 MHz signal and works fine, but
I'm not very skilled at making the cables. The one I made worked OK, but it
doesn't work with all devices, so I think there must be a problem, but I
haven't any idea how to figure out what's wrong and fix it. Connecting the
cables correctly is no problem, but I think that I didn't do a very good job
on the shielding.

Does anyone on this list have a recommendation for a vendor that can make a
Firewire cable for me through the slipring? I need one or two of them made.
