Isoch question

I have a camera that is sending Isoch data at a very high rate.  In order to get the bandwidth that we need - the camera is sending Isoch data on a single channel with a payload size of 4704 bytes.  Does anyone know if I can setup a DCL to be able to receive this data size successfully?  I realize that this violates the 1394 spec - Windows does allow the sending and receiving of Isoch packets > 4K - I am wondering if the Mac will allow me to do the same?
