Hi Priti -

This is a known typo we shipped with the original Tiger, I believe. It will be fixed in a future update.

For now, you will have to change your definition of kIOFireWireTopologyChanged to read "iokit_fw_err" instead of "iofit_fw_err"... (or redefine the macro or make your own...)
