Sorry, that's not what I actually meant to type. FireLog itself has
been perfectly reliable. The main trouble has been that I've blown
FireWire ports while hotplugging, so FireLog isn't always
available, depending on the system and device I'm testing. In this
case, I do have a second good FireWire port, so it should be fine.
Also, the information I've managed to retrieve from the debug
family using FireLog hasn't been particularly useful in debugging
my problems in the past. Indeed, spelunking the FireWire family
sources has revealed that there doesn't seem to be much useful
debugging output to be had. It will be great if the OHCI driver is
more verbose than the family.
(I should note that I'm working with old-style DCL in kernelspace.)
