For those of you who have been using MDM solutions to manage your iOS devices, please remember that there are certificates associated with MDM that must be renewed periodically. One of those certificates, the Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) certificate, lasts for one year and must be renewed annually. All APNS certificate creation and renewal now takes place on the Apple Push Certificates Portal <https://identity.apple.com/pushcert> . If you created your APNS certificate in the iOS Developer Enterprise Program, it has been automatically migrated to the new Apple Push Certificates Portal, and you will be able to renew it there. If you used Mac OS X Server to create an APNS certificate (ex. Profile Manager), you will see it listed there as well. Please be sure to check your APNS certificate early to confirm and renew your existing certificate before expiration. Once the APNS certificate expires, the MDM server cannot contact clients, nor can devices be enrolled. You can renew an existing APNS certificate at any time, and correctly renewing an APNS certificate, even after expiration, doesn't require devices to be re-enrolled. If you created your APNS MDM certificate in the iOS Developer Enterprise Program, please see the "Learn more about MDM push certificate migration" link on the Apple Push Certificates Portal <https://identity.apple.com/pushcert> for instructions regarding renewal of the APNS MDM certificate. If you have additional questions regarding the APNS MDM certificate renewal process for your 3rd party MDM solution, please contact your MDM solution vendor. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
