Queries about Cocoa

Dear All,

I am a software developer and being given a task to do research of developing GUI on Mac.

I have serched on web and founded Cocoa environment to be best suited for application development for the same.

Regarding this i have few queries:

1. If i have Mac on my system, how can i install Cocoa.

2. Is there any online help available that is is parallel to www.msdn.com for Visual Studio developer.

3. Do i need to have experience in Xcode and Interface builder for develoing GUI.

4. For Interface development purpose is the Application kit will suffice.

I would deeply apprecite for any kind of help on the above questionare.
