Has anyone got any sample code they can send me to do the above.

I am looking for source code (Control Panel or System extension) to
display an iconic menu in the menuBar and pull down a menu list (like
OSA Menu, SETI@HOME, AOL Instant Messenger). Skeleton code is fine.
