New clock control parts

In the comments for the clock CDEF (in Carbon 1.2.5), the discussion alludes
to new clock parts that are defined. I found their definitions in
ControlDefinitions.r, but I don't know how to use them. If I pass
kControlClockHourDayPart into GetControlData, what value does it return and
how do I interpret it? The documentation in the Control Manager reference
doesn't say anything about the new part codes, so I'm a little stuck for
reference material aside from the note in ControlDefinitions.h and the new
clock parts in ControlDefinitions.r.

Does anyone have any hints?
