Dynamic menu items

I'm converting a classic app and it uses Mercutio.

In one menu it has "dynamic hidden" menu items where holding down the option
key will change the menu item as seen by the user.

A simple example:

Select All Cmd-A
Select None Cmd-A (marked as "dynamic hidden, via option key")

So,

The menu only shows Select All
If the user presses the Cmd-Opt-A, it'll invoke Select None
If the user is mousing and the Edit menu is open, pressing the Option key
change Select All to Select None

Can I do that with the standard Mac OS MDEF?
