We successfully managed to integrate a Mac OS X 10.6 Server into our
infrastructure (OpenLDAP, OS X 10.6.4 Server on XServe) for testing
purposes.
But the Calendar Server gives us an odd issue (logging in works without
any problem). When inviting other members it accepts the email address
(so the Mapping of "EMailAddress" to the LDAP attribute "mail" is
successful) but replaces it to the
<urn:uuid:...the guid....>. It is not possible to write mail to these
addresses.
Why does iCal server does that? Is there a configuration glitch to make
the server use the "mailto:"-cua (calendar user address) in CalDAV?
With other CalDAV clients (other than iCal) it gets worse due to the
fact that people *WANT* to write mail to these people.
Login via ssh with this user id works. The web interface to create
blogs, wikis and the web calendar is also functional with my user
credentials.
(the carddav server/addressbook is also working flawlessly).
Did I forget a mapping?
