RE: 10.5 lauchctl unload causing process crash



What other information could I supply to help with this problem?

That message is printed out by the job_reap function in  
launchd_core_logic.c. I'd guess that your daemon is crashing on 10.5  
when launchd tries to kill it, but it's difficult to say without more  
information.
