I'm looking for some instructions for configuring an os X server
system as an IPv6 router. I have sucessfully configured a tunnel to
he.net and am able to access ipv6 sites from that system. However I
would like to have this system also serve as a router for my network
and advertise my prefix and routes. This system is not behind any
address translation.

This is listing 4-5, Enabling IPv6 Routing Under MacOS, from my book:

ifconfig en0 inet6 2001:db8:31:2::1/64
sysctl -w net.inet6.ip6.forwarding=1
rtadvd en0

You also need:

Listing 4-6. Filtering Out Incoming Router Advertisements
ip6fw add 65000 drop ipv6-icmp from any to any icmptypes 134 in

Obviously the IPv6 address must be one that falls within the address range you got from the tunnel broker (or your 6to4 range). You can download all the examples from the book through http://www.apress.com/ book/bookDisplay.html?bID=10026 have a look at the lower right corner of the page.
