Re: Can't see separators on Jmenu

Are you referring to 'JSeparator' or 'JPopupMenu.Separator'?  I have no problem with 'JSeparator', but 'JPopupMenu.Separator' only shows as a gap between menu items, without the horizontal bar.  If I remember correctly, this is an Apple bug, with the 'paint' method being empty.

I've persisting with my migration to Swing (always of course adhering

to the Apple UI guidelines) and am off on a short break tomorrow, but

I'm intrigued why my separators don't show up on my Jmenu - they

always did on the AWT menus. Haven't looked at it on any other

platform, but am suspicious it might be something to do with OS X's

semi-transparent menus. I'm just running the app from my ide at the

moment. I haven't packaged it into an app yet or anything.  If anyone

knows the common trap I must have fallen into (can't find it

googling) I'd  be most grateful for a direct copy of any list posting

before I go away.
