Re: Can't see separators on Jmenu

Further to my problems with separators in Swing, I downloaded Sun's (aesthetically dreadful) MenuDemo from the Java Tutorial, compiled it on CodeWarrior 8 under OS X and ran it. Can't see the separators.

I'm using a PowerBook G4 with OSX 10.4.7, but same thing on a Desktop G4 with a CRT display.

Windows XP under Virtual treacle giving it the jar file renders the separators just fine.

I've a number of apps I've written using AWT with menus with separators that look fine on OSX.

Could it be something to do with the way I'm compiling? But, if so, why should it work on Windows?

Anyway just compiled and run the Sun demo on the command line, and that's no better.

Seems Irish to me. (Sorry that's not PC, but I'm a Mac, and anyway I'm off on vacation to Ireland for the next 10 days.)
