Re: Will java.awt.SystemTray be implemented on Java SE 6 on Mac OS X?

You can try out Java SE 6.0 Release 1 Developer Preview 6, available now from http://connect.apple.com.

If you notice bugs with the "SystemTray" implementation, please file them at http://bugreporter.apple.com.

There's a new optional API in Java 6 for adding items to the "System Tray". It's in java.awt.SystemTray.

Since it's optional, how can I find out the "official" plans of Apple on whether or not they intend to implement this functionality on their Mac Java 6 platform?
