Re: Problems with drivers for Java DB (Derby)

I downloaded JavaDB from SUN

Since the other vendors for Java DB (IBM, SUN, Apache) do not address Mac OS X in particular there seem to be at least implicit hints that the jdbc-drivers for Java DB is Apples responsibility.

Can anybody help me out while we are waiting?

I would recommend going to the Apache site and downloading Derby instead. As far as I know, there are no differences between JavaDB and Derby - except that I use Derby 10.1.3 on my Mac all of the time and have had nothing but success.
