Java 5 on older Mac

Hi all.

We are facing a problem. We want to use a couple of libraries that are Java 5. It is working fine on OSX 10.4 and higher but not at all for lower. I guess someone faced this problem before so I ask. Is there anyone knowing a workaround to be able to run this on older Mac? A way to get Java 5 on older Mac or a possibility to convert the libraries?
